Latest pictures from past week on site. Been troubled by heavy rains this week, which mean stop/start… down to the wire, depending on the next 10 days of weather!
performance 16th october
sorry for the delay, Ive only just started downloading all the pictures we took on the site. thought these ones show the potential of the theatre; even as a building site you can see how well it’s going to be used. Pedro and co played some music but the real performance was when the local primary and high school kids took it in turns to perform.. that’s when the site came to life!

cracking on again. got rained off site on Tuesday, so the gang on site have chosen to work longer days and through their breaks for the rest of the week to catch up! Compacting should be completed by Monday, ready for more baskets, and lots more stones!

bits and pieces to do monday, then preparation begins on tuesday for the final row!
we are all exhausted and ready for a weekend of rest!

this is site at the end of play today. still aiming to have all 3rd row baskets completely filled by end of the week…
then wiring all the baskets on Monday, and begin row 4 on Tuesday!

very productive day on site, and very very hot. approx half the baskets are almost full on row 3… if we keep on at this rate there is no reason why the row shouldn’t be done completely by friday
however heavy rain forecast for tomorrow and wednesday
sad to see so much havoc created throughout the valley after fridays 10 minute whirlwind tornado of tennis ball sized hailstones. not a school or house in the local area without broken windows, and so many car windscreens badly smashed
